Senior Associate - Advocate

Marvin graduated from the University of Surabaya in 2009 with specialization in Business Law. Upon his graduation, he joined the firm in 2010 under direct mentorship of the founder and managing partner of the firm that furnishes his credentials to be admitted to the bar in 2014.

Having a practice of law in a full-service law firm composes Marvin to become a versatile attorney at law, both in litigation and non-litigation matters. He has been involved in many dispute settlements cases, including mediation and arbitration cases in various sectors ranging from international commercial transaction, hospitality business, land and property, freight forwarding, oil and gas, and construction disputes. Marvin is also a lawyer who specializes in the field of hospitality, a unique category of law that brought him the opportunity to work with international management companies who manages luxury hotel brands around the world.

Due to his focus in alternative dispute settlement, he has acquired the certification as a licensed Mediator from the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia and was appointed as a non-judge mediator by the Chief Justice of Surabaya District Court.

For his work in corporate law, the firm’s track record showed completion of his works to domestic and international clients, such as performing due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, management agreements, convention of general meeting of shareholders, and other corporate related actions in Indonesia. Additionally, Marvin is a Capital Market practitioner and his involvement in the capital market field is acknowledged by the Capital Market Legal Consultant Association (HKHPM) and Financial Services Authority (OJK).

Marvin is an all-rounded attorney with an Advocate license and registered as member of the Indonesian Bar Association (PERADI), Mediation and Conflict Resolution Centre (PMRK), and Capital Market Legal Consultant Association (HKHPM). He speaks fluent English and Bahasa Indonesia.
